A drone tether system fundamentally transforms a standard drone into a continuously operating aerial platform. It works by providing an uninterrupted power supply and a secure, high-bandwidth data link directly from a ground power unit to the drone via a specialized, lightweight cable. This eliminates the need for frequent battery changes, allowing the drone to remain airborne for virtually unlimited durations, enabling persistent surveillance, extended inspections, or continuous communication relays.

As of now, the Autel Lite Enterprise and any Mavic 3 drones work with our tether system.

Autel Care typically covers a wide range of accidental damage that falls outside of normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Accidental crashes

• Water damage

• Signal interference causing loss of control

• Damage from operator error

It does NOT typically cover lost or stolen drones, intentional damage, or damage from unauthorized modifications. Always refer to the specific terms and conditions of your Autel Care plan for full details of coverage.
